On the 28th of April, we had a get-together at the Goethe - Zentrum Trivandrum. The evening was a very special one with the presence of members of the Goethe Zentrum .This provided an opportunity to interact with them and get to know more about the Zentrum and the activities taking place there.
It was a wonderful evening with scintillating performances by Palnarians displaying their talents. The Goethe members proved that they are not behind. Great performances were put forward by them as well with a Goethe faculty presenting a very lively song filling all with high spirits and energy. Kids also did their part by singing several songs. The wonderful evening concluded with a dinner at the lawn.

The 16th of September 2009 was a landmark in the journey for Palnar Transmedia Pvt. Ltd. It was on this day that the company celebrated its tenth anniversary. The ceremony was presided over by some of the stalwarts in the Technopark community including Mr. G.Vijayaraghavan, the founder CEO of Technopark and Shri. Mervin Alexander, the current CEO of Technopark. Adding more happiness to the occasion was the presence of Mr. Norbert Braun who in fact contributed as the first client for the company from Germany. Evolution of IT in Kerala was the topic dealt upon in the key note address delivered by Dr. Achuth Sankar, Head-Dept of Bioinformatics & former Director of C-DIT. The session also felicitated noted IT professional, the eleven years old Sreelakshmi Suresh who has won laurels as the youngest web designer & CEO from India. As a token of gratitude for the help and support provided by the Technopark community, the company dedicated to Technopark a bus shelter. Adjoining the Gayatri building, this shelter is the first of its kind to be donated by a firm within the Technopark premises.

It is indeed a proud moment for Palnar when Mr Syed Ibrahim the founder CEO of Palnar Transmedia Pvt. Ltd was nominated as the honorary representative in Trivandrum of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce. He is also now the Director of the Goethe-Zentrum Trivandrum. Under his leadership the Goethe-Zentrum in association with the German consulate has organized several events in the capital city which promotes the German language and culture.
In association with the leading firms in Technopark, the Goethe-Zentrum has started an initiative to train IT professionals in German language and thereby ensuring a smoother exchange of services to the German speaking clients.

The ever awaited carpooling website for Technopark - www.parkcarpool.in, was jointly launched by the Group of Technopark Companies (GTECH), a body representing the chief executives of the Technopark firms, and Palnar Transmedia, The initiative would encourage IT professionals to travel together and thereby save money, fuel and reduce global warming and traffic on the roads.
